iCIMS is an enterprise talent acquisition platform used by large employers. Its AI features include candidate ranking and talent matching.
What iCIMS Says About Screening
iCIMS lists "Candidate ranking, Talent discovery, Talent matching" among its AI capabilities and says the product can "Rank candidates based on skills and experience." Its own blog describes resume parsing "that quickly evaluates the credentials, keywords, and knockout question responses submitted by each applicant." On oversight, iCIMS says: "Recruiters stay firmly in control, choosing how much autonomy to enable, reviewing recommendations and guiding outcomes every step of the way."
Bias Testing
In September 2023, iCIMS wrote that it "engaged BABL AI, Inc. to perform an independent bias audit of the iCIMS "Candidate Ranking" algorithm per the requirements outlined in the new NYC local law," and that "The audit found that the algorithm did not have an adverse impact against any self-declared demographic group." iCIMS also says its AI Governance Committee oversees "annual bias audits." We did not find the full audit report on its public pages.
